Quality

The Quality Manual defines:

• Self-evaluation procedures that will enable regular monitoring and improvement of the quality, competitiveness, and efficiency of educational, scientific research, artistic, and professional activities.
• The stakeholders who will participate in these procedures and their roles.

The purpose of the quality system at the Faculty of Polymer Technology is:

• to contribute to the achievement of the set strategic objectives,
• to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each process,
• to serve as a tool for systematic improvement in all areas of operation.

At the Faculty of Polymer Technology, the Quality Committee is also established, which in the current academic year consists of:​

Tasks and responsibilities of the Quality Committee:

• reviewing the annual report on the work of the faculty, including the report on scientific research work and the report on the efficiency of studies,
• reviewing the proposal of indicators and standards, as well as procedures for monitoring efficiency in key areas of activity,
• participating in the preparation of the annual quality report,
• participating in the development of the concept and procedures for evaluation and self-evaluation,
• reviewing evaluation reports and preparing proposals for improvements,
• reviewing the proposal of the action plan for improvements in individual areas of activity, informing the Senate about the results, and proposing appropriate solutions based on the findings.

The Faculty of Polymer Technology conducts self-evaluation through surveys of various stakeholders:

• surveying students (on the completed course and on the work of each individual course provider),
• surveying higher education teachers and their associates,
• surveying students during practical training and their mentors in companies,
• interviews between tutors and students,
• surveying graduates,
• surveying employees who are not involved in the educational process.
