Career center

The Career Centre of the Faculty of Polymer Technology is the central support point for students in developing their career paths already during their studies. Its purpose is to help students identify their own interests, competences, and career goals, while actively connecting them with the environment in which they will work after completing their studies.

Students are provided with support in their first contacts with industry, guidance in choosing their career path, and opportunities to acquire additional knowledge, experience, and competences that are essential for a successful transition to the labour market.

The main areas of activity of the Career Center are:

  • planning students’ career paths and education,
  • connecting students and potential employers,
  • active cooperation with the human resources departments of potential employers,
  • publishing opportunities for scholarships, student work, and job vacancies,
  • organising extracurricular and other events at the Faculty,
  • managing student accommodation capacities in Slovenj Gradec,
  • coordinating FTPO Alumni activities,
  • supporting the activities of the FTPO Student Council,
  • performing administrative tasks for the Career Centre,
