RSF PEDAGOGICAL EXCELLENCE

Project title: RSF PEDAGOGICAL EXCELLENCE

Project acronym: RSF

Program: Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation – Financing of study activities 2025–2028

Objective: The Faculty of Polymer Technology has successfully obtained funding for its development goals for the period 2025–2028. The main strategic objective of the project is to prepare graduates for the challenges of the future in a rapidly changing world.

The project focuses on two key pillars. The first pillar is aimed at updating and adapting study programs to the needs of the environment. As part of this, we will conduct a comprehensive analysis of labor market needs, update curricula, and incorporate more interdisciplinary integration and project work on specific industry cases into the teaching process.

The second pillar is aimed at promoting pedagogical excellence. We will achieve this by introducing modern forms of learning, such as problem-based and experiential learning, and by encouraging critical thinking. The use of modern ICT tools will also be key, for which we will establish a special ICT support unit. We will train higher education teachers and students to use new technologies, such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, and adapt knowledge assessment methods to the new circumstances.
