From education to practice: a successful start to the new academic year at FTPO

Yesterday, we welcomed a new generation of students to the Faculty of Polymer Technology and together embarked on the 2025/2026 academic year.

On the Introductory Day, students learned all about how to study, extracurricular opportunities, and activities they can take advantage of for successful studies. First-year students had the opportunity to get to know each other, tour the faculty's premises and laboratories, and participate in occupational safety training.

The central part of the Introductory Day was the event "Employment Opportunities and Scholarship Options," where we were joined by eight organizations—companies and research institutions, potential future employers of our students. They presented their activities, employment opportunities, and scholarship opportunities, followed by individual meetings with employers, where students had the opportunity to introduce themselves, ask questions, and obtain information about internships, scholarships, and employment.

The response was exceptional – both from representatives of companies and research institutions and from our students, who showed great interest and enthusiasm. The event was an important step towards linking studies and career opportunities and a successful start to the new academic year.
