Habilitation of Dr. mont. Andreas Hausberger

On Monday, November 12, 2018, Dr. mont. Andreas Hausberger held his public inaugural lecture titled “Method development of tribological test systems for polymers”. The expert commission that consisted of doc. Dr. Thomas Wilhelm, Associate Professor Dr. Miroslav Hukić and doc. Dr. Rupert Kargl from the University of Maribor, was pleased to accept the lecture as final step towards the habilitation of Dr. Hausberger to docent (assistant professor) for the subject “Chemistry and Materials”.

Doc. Dr. Hausberger will teach in the current study year “Testing and characterization of polymer materials and quality assurance” for the bachelor course and “Materials Science” for the master course.

Doc. Dr. mont. Andreas Hausberger has studied Polymer Engineering at the Montanuniversitaet Leoben and after his Master degree he finished his PhD in the field of Polymer Tribology. Mr. Hausberger is actually employed at the Polymer Competence Center Leoben GmbH (PCCL) and in charge of the Polymer Tribology working group with 5 researchers. His main activities are in the coordination of governmental founded Projects (e.g. COMET-FFG, BRIDGE) and contractual research. Mr. Hausberger has more than 10 years’ experience in polymer tribology related topics.
