2nd Circular Packaging Conference, 9. - 10. September 2021

2. International Circular Packaging Conference will be orginized by Pulp and Paper Institute, LjubljanaFaculty of Polymer Technology, Slovenj GradecSRIP Circular Economy - Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Štajerska and  co-organized by Obudai University, Hungary. The conference will be held on 9—10 September 2021 at the premises of Facutly of Polymer Technology in Slovenj Gradec (Slovenia). The conference will be organised as a hybrid conference, online and onsite

The aim of the conference is to connect different stakeholders from industry, academia design studios, brand owners and all involved in the packaging life cycle. Main goals are to share knowledge, good practices, ideas and to make new connections in the transformation from linear to circular packaging supply chains and business models.


With interesting presentations, real life case studies from companies and masterclasses from experts, we expect to create new partnerships and value chains between and among academia and industry stakeholders. Also hands- on workshop will be organized based on the method developed from the Ellen McArthur Foundations.

Faculty of Polymer Technology is a private non-profit higher education and research institution based in Slovenj Gradec

Faculty of Polymer Technology is a private non-profit higher education and research institution based in Slovenj Gradec. It was founded in 2006 as Polymer Technology College and was promoted to Faculty by the Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education in February 2017.

Its founders are companies from Slovene plastics industry (Adient Slovenj Gradec d.o.o., Grammer Automotive Slovenija d.o.o., Plastika Skaza d.o.o., Kopur d.o.o., BSH Hišni aparati d.o.o. Nazarje), Regional institutions (Municipality of Slovenj Gradec, RRA Koroška d.o.o) and Industry associations/Research organisations (GIZ Grozd Plasttehnika, TECOS - Razvojni center orodjarstva Slovenije).
